Mindfulness simply means to be present without judgement. Having a practice of mindfulness in daily life can look different for people. I like to think of it as slowing down and taking in everything and all the sensations, like feeling the breeze on your face as you walk outside, or feeling the water on your hands when washing a dish. When it says to be present without judgement, we are simply noticing what is without attaching an opinion/ label to it, for good or bad. I challenge you to slow down and observe sensations- what you see/ hear/ feel/ smell/ touch in the environment throughout the day and to intentionally take things a bit slower and notice those sensations. This will help you to be more engaged and present with daily tasks and will reduce stress.
